Mid West Sixth Avenue

Dear Foodie-Diary,

I just finished simulation lab test. I bet most of us gonna do well for this test as it was exactly the same as our past year paper. You could see flashes of 'darlie' on everyone front. I decided to join the rest of ISE peeps to go Siong Tai's place at Sixth Avenue. The mid-autumn atmosphere over there is simply exuberant. Lover-park, old sunday activities, pine trees add up to that atmosphere.

Trees and roads seem to be appealing for appeasing strolling especially with your closed ones. I thought his house is extraordinary, but it is actually a 'Hanging Garden' from Babylon!

Boardgames and food are ubiquitous. Joshua came over to share his expertise on music.

We played this game which requires us to chant "R-O-C-K, ROCK!" clap clap, "Let's play" clap clap, "Play what" clap clap, "ISE PROFESSOR" clap clap, and so i shouted out load with sheer confidence "LEE KUAN YEW!" clap clap. There goes the sucky forfeit on my throat.
I will never be like Zhiyong who hit himself so hard with malibu and vodka.
Pond of 9 fishes

A share of golden Retriever
It reminded me of Gary's sister's goldie which is at Katong.
She would never cease to jump on Aaron and me during those days.
We played W.Eleven at your small yet functional TV.
It seems that your skills have improved so much after we challenged.
How I miss those days..
With besties from CCHB..
Someday...
I would like to laze around and gaze the sky shrouded with cloud.
Only tunes of James Blunt and James Morrison flood my mind.
With your eyes close and heed your spirit to pray

Blade to 21st

Dear Diary,
My week has been so hectic as if it has eaten up my time vehemently. And I have missed out reciting certain part of my week with flow. Whenever you are too busy, most of us always feel that time is running out so fast; like images of trees and houses went past you as you speed up on the road and it seems that you miss out the location that you wanna visit. Ever thought of you being so busy, then you will forever be busy. Haha.

Zm stayed over at my place last Sat. Unexpectedly, my brother's friend came over to spend the night as well. He wore zm's tee which was stranded on the lousy chair in the living room. The din that zm made in the morning was unsightful but hilarious.

We went to Life Bible Presbyterian for Sunday session with God. I love the way they projected the hymns vocally. The atmosphere was simply heartwarming for us.

Off the activities we had in East Coast Park. It was my first time to roller blade. But second attempt for him. The moment I tried to stand up with the roller on my feet, I keep asking myself how is it possible to balance! Every centimetres I covered with the roller was an achievement to me. Both of us were faltering incessantly and almost threaten other patrons at the park. Two hours are never too long to roll. I would love to set my feet on the gears again after my exams.
Am I wearing 'Aldo shoes'
or I am a natural giant?
Let's salute our day for comfort and peace.
I apologized if the dinner was not up to your likings.
But I still find their servings unique.
Henceforth we ended our day witnessing zm smooching the choco brownies.
Hope all of us have a wonderful week ahead!

Mount Sophia

"The Camera flashed, capturing the moment on film for all eternity"
How i wish i own a DSLR camera to take great shots.
It is so E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E!
Although the sky seems intimidating and dreading,
the color and the structure of the building could still tune along with the phase quite well.
Like you say, it is indeed blessing in disguise. In times of tremendous pressure and tribulation, you stay strong and more beautiful. The fairest flowers grow in the alpine-snow solitudes. The noblest statues bore the most blows of chisel. The rarest gem has been cut many times by lapidary's wheels.
This Lamp is more formidable than any of the lamp posts that you know amid the bad weather condition.
For it is the only lamp that has caught my attention.
It is more of the substance rather than its physical structure that you see in this lamp.
Does its character remind you of anyone?
This picture that I took reminds me of the story by Dorian Gray. "High-life yet complicated"

Hagen Daaz

Wanna hear a story?
Here comes a boy who wish that he can be a scientist.
But end up trying to imitate one of Timberlake's move.
Which ain't that smooth.
The moment i mention about him being a comedian,
He would give me this expression.

Until one day, when I saw this magazine.
It was happen to be someone I know.
It was Hagen Daaz!
Your brother told me that you know Brenda in your kindergarten.
But where is she now?
Anyway, the poster resembles you.
I took a shot at you secretly.
Wonder why you always get bullied by your brother

You weigh as much as me.(75Kg)
That was my last session with you.
I am not sure when will I be able to see you again.
Hopefully, enroll in your fave Saint Andrew.
All the best!

Tales of mommy

I taught her bit on piano
Isn't she amazing?

It all started with a simple gift; Love.
You are amazing and wonderful.
Always being so patience with us.
Never weary of showing concern by nagging.
Yet sometimes, we fail to set aside time for you.

Sometimes, courage would mean hugging your own mom.
Give a tap on her shoulder and let her know she doesn't has to worry.
Let her know you are doing well.
Just a simple flash of her teeth could simply warm you with glow.
Just like the stage of the sky at 6pm in Singapore.

No words could express my love.
All you ask for is simply our obedience and time.
You earn our immense respect.
Thank you!!

Dedicated to my beloved mom.

Homely Saturday

How I wish I could walk through the door of my mind
Pick up every single broken materials that could be found and mend them back.
Words seem harsh to be comprehended when the mind is tied up.
Illogical expression is costly with confusion cerebral state.
I keep running in circles, and afraid that i will end up in tails.
Surely, there is a trace for me to pick up.
Gearing up my gut to move forward with rushing current against my feet.
For the race has not ended, which I have started long time ago.

I met chee keong in PS today.
Did some catching up.
We reminisced about N203, which seems to be the most conducive group we have ever been.
I regret that I didn't cherish those time.

Tummy sober

Dear diary,
I just get to move to my my new place, Bukit Batok this week.
Just have a slight regret that I move this far.
Far and cut myself out from the rest.
The week is not going well for me.
Messed up my stats test which was scheduled on Tuesday morning.
I left the table distribution on my desk that morning before getting my feet on the heat.

The food poisoning I had, was not really expected.
after eating yong tau foo from my school canteen.
It wasn't that bad as NUS clinic offers free medical consultation and prescriptions.
The pain commenced as I approached my door step.
Just to find out that no one at home and my key is with my mom.
It wasn't easy as I was struggling, on the verge of unconsciousness before I could tolerate the sour pinch in my stomach.

Questions suddenly came across my mind; do cancer patients feel the hit much more than what I am facing now?
How about those who just met mishaps and are lying on the hospital now?

It dawned upon me that some of those people fight very hard for time to fly and recover, especially those who are still carrying hope and knowing their life purpose. Given an option, some might choose to end their 'journey' in order to escape their sufferings.
What if i am given the option during that moment?
Which one would i choose?
It seems to me that the road to the latter is much wider; tempting enough to end the persecution and confusion which have been robbing me.
It is simply selfish, but it's not blissful.

At that point of time, the image of God appears in my mind. Without thinking any further, I immediately made a short prayer.
I love the usual peacefulness whenever i enter that realm.

The black clouds diminish much faster than i thought as soon as I saw her.

Her aura is truly amazing and radiating.
My depleted vessel seems to be repleting with fluids.
Her delicate voice which has been used to ask me for concern.
Her skills and patience I admire the most.
You are the most wonderful woman I have ever known.

Love you mom~~
