Unwavered Grace

After attending the course, I managed to make a quick pace and turned up for Jimmy's birthday gathering at Sakura.
Everytime I see the smile and laughter that CG people are sharing, I would ask myself when was the last time that I truly laughed heartily with them.
I was sure Jimmy was exuberant that night after collecting plenty of juicy gifts.

Zm came over my place and picked me up for supper. It was another roller-coaster for us. The gnashing issues over relationship were not what it seems to be. It's vexing that we have to finish the whole bowl of tasty clam chowder before we could comprehend the exact situation; we are too greedy by nature. When it is tasty, we tend to crave for more. And by the time we discover that we have fallen into the crack, it's already too late to avoid it.

I was glad that he came over for service this morning. Somehow the sermon spoke directly to people who need it. The image of Parkway and Roxy areas doesn't give much impression, but the connectivity that these places have with me, are truly intense. Skateboard, Cycling, Pooling, Lan Gaming along with secondary school buddies. I miss those times.

I was supposed to do a short dance performance for NUS Mid-Autumn outreach at Riverwalk, but it seemed that there were limited time to go through the run.
Unfortunately, I couldn't avoid having to stand on the stage. I was voted to dress and dance like Chang-Er for my group. The game was a kick even without the short commercial;dance.
Somehow, I was voted as the best imitator and rewarded with Rocher.
I lost my ear piece for my I Pod. :(

The day has finally come to an end after watching a lifeless score line 1-1 between the 2 soccer giants(Man U and Chelsea) at Liquid Kitchen.
I still love Chelsea ever since primary school.
Hopefully, they will crown the Premier League this season.

Acquisition of Merrill

The news of Merrill Lynch being bought over by Bank of America has caused an uproar in US financial markets.
Dreadful woes are inevitable for certain investors who have to remain standby 24hours.
This crisis in US reminded me of the belief conflict in 9/11 that left a huge crack in the country stability politically as well as reputation.

How fragile has US been becoming?
Nobody expected this to happen.
Congrats to those who are holding their shares.
Wondering if Temasek Holdings really hold their shares in billions.
Somehow I have an affinity with 'Merrill Lynch'. Haha

Let's see the ride for the week.
Zm and Liling fetched me from Aljunied after my tuition with the impressive Subaru.
There are times when my ego compel me to try the engine on my own. But the thought of the risk refrained me from achieving that intention. We had few games of pool in Meridian with his peeps and had a brief supper in Geylang.
I guess it must be tough for someone, who was unwell, to take the gear.
Thanks and sorry for the trouble.
Wish that I could take your place and placate your outraged uneasiness.
There went my struggle to get up for lecture the next morning.

4 Projects and mid term tests have been piling up.
Term break does not mean much to me even if it is commencing for the coming week.

I have to be prepared to stay in school and study on my own until late.
My brother fetched me in school after his OT.
And visited my relatives, who are on vacation in town.

I am looking forward to Formula 1 events!
Hopefully the response from my friend is optimistic.

Story of Trina

Ever since you were being bought over by my tuition kids' family,
you were resilient in guarding the house.
When everyone is sleeping,
you never failed to remain standby throughout the night.
You jumped and barked excitedly at the sight of the food.
But were given cold treatment as you were seen to behave disobediently
Until one fine day,
when you were caught for not being yourself,
you were sent to the vet for treatment.
Two days after the treatment,
you were found lying unconsciously on the floor.
By the time you were sent to the vet again,
it was to no avail of revitalizing you back again.
And you were just two and half years old.
Diagnosed with Bronchopulmonary illness.
I have checked that your breed average lifespan is about 12-15 years.
You were indeed too young to leave this world.

You have taught me one thing,
"To remain dutiful until the end"

Windy and meandering road

Beating against the rustling wind and dreary wet road,
my brother drove us to Bugis and had 'Lai Lai' Taiwanese food for supper.

The food tells me how my Mom used to enjoy the food
when she was studying in Taiwan and how she had gained weight.

It was delicious as I couldn't help but to gobble down the food.
I forgot to bring my phone which is my only source of photo-taking.

I led him to Ang Siang Road and the place is filled with Singapore heritage.

Thereafter, there is this meandering road which is known as 'racing road' along south Buona Vista road, where it is believed that people used to race in the past.

I coached my brother to let me drive from Nus back to our place.

It was rather an achievement for me as I could park the truck neatly.
